This class will discuss the importance of prenatal and postnatal care. There will be a focus on common maternal health conditions such as infections, hypertension or preeclampsia, and diabetes.

Katrina has been in the nursing field for 25+ years. She is a community based nurse practitioner and has many years experience working in the hospital setting. Katrina loves learning and teaching in the community. She is a doctoral candidate and will graduate with her DNP this December!

Brianna is a doula, trained by Black Mothers’ Breastfeeding Association. This class is a series that is offered the first Saturday of every month. These virtual classes are free, but she does offer private doula services too. Sliding scale.
Mom Café provides moms with a relaxed and inviting space to discuss topics such as pregnancy, labor and delivery, self-care, and mental health. This is a support group for all moms. Join us during pregnancy and beyond.
