A tribe that learns together, grows together! Join Lekeisha, a licensed professional counselor, for a group “watch and learn” activity! We will learn basic crochet skills such as chaining, single crochet, and how to tie a slip knot!  Hobbies can have a tremendous impact on mental health. Come try something new. Yarn and hooks provided!

No registration required but recommended.

Today’s Mom aims to improve the dietary and physical activity habits of moms-to-be in ways that are sustainable before, during, and after pregnancy.

Six sessions will help moms-to-be understand the changes pregnancy has on the body.

This free series will cover topics such as:

  • Relief for common pregnancy discomfort
  • A babies development
  • Healthy eating for mother and baby
  • Reading food labels
  • Menu planning
  • Keeping active during and after pregnancy

Offered by the Michigan State Extension Program.

Brianna is a doula, trained by Black Mothers’ Breastfeeding Association.  This class is a series that is offered the first Saturday of every month.  These virtual classes are free, but she does offer private doula services too.  Sliding scale.
